Miracle Streams Wholefoods update

Hey Folks,

I hope everything is going well for everyone. My bottled water product Miracle Streams has been in the metro Atlanta Wholefoods stores since the begining of October 2008. The overall results have been very good so far, and I am very thankful for that. I have been going to stores doing in store demos on the weekends, and the response has been great !

The positive responses have come from all types of cultures, races, and social economic backrounds. One of the most moving encounters I have had was with a white middle aged lady who had been layed off from her job. She stopped by my table and I told her the whole store about how I started everything, and the true value that miracle Streams brings.

She said she really was encourged about everything I was doing, but she was on a very, very tight budget so she had to stick to her shopping list. I just thanked her for listening to me, and she kept on doing her shopping. I was talking to another couple, and out of the corner of my eye I saw the lady who had lost her job putting three to four bottles of Miracle Streams in her cart.

I will admit I got kind of misty eyed from what she did, what a big heart ! Wholefoods is very happy about the movement of the product, and I need your help as well. They are talking about letting me bring my product to all of their stores in the southeast. Now hear me load and clear profit margins in the water business are very slim unless you have the Walmart account ! Are they are very, very cheap so you might just break even.

But the most exciting thing would be that I may be able to sponsor another kid for Food for the Hungry/www.fth.org. You see with every purchase of Miracle Streams, I take a portion of that sale and ID it towards that organization to help some people who can not help themselves. So this is not solely about helping me, this is mainly about helping these dear kids.

I am at the Alpharetta,Marietta,Duluth,Ponce, and Sandy Springs store. Soon to be at the Buckhead and Brairrcliff store as well. As they use to say "More power to the people"

Why I am proud of President Obama
by Dr. Boyce Watkins
www.BoyceWatkins.com
I recall endorsing Barack Obama back when it was simply wishful thinking to hope for a Black President. During a CNN appearance over a year ago, I mentioned that his backing by Oprah Winfrey would change Obama from being “Hillary Clinton’s black baby brother” into a man who could run one of the most significant presidential campaigns in American history. This is one of the few times when I enjoy being able to say, “I told you so.”

President Obama is, quite simply, the Tiger Woods of American politics: another Black man of mixed heritage, who used the power of tremendous focus, creativity, intelligence and preparation to do the impossible. Like his counterpart Tiger Woods (who happens to be a Republican), Obama went into the domain of White males and dominated in ways that simply transcended his chosen field. Similar to the way that Tiger’s greatness attracted droves of fans who’d never cared much about golf, Obama brought in millions of voters who would never have cared much about a presidential election.

I am proud of Barack Obama for the way he ran his campaign. His choice of advisors and campaign strategy has changed the face of American politics for the next 100 years. He dismantled the “Death Star Clinton Regime” through the use of innovative, daring and powerful tactics, a sound choice of advisors and lots of good old fashioned intelligence.

I am proud of Barack Obama for liberating our minds. For the first time in quite a while, millions of Black boys had a chance to see an intelligent Black man consistently profiled in “mainstream” media. This man showed our kids that you can be a “balla” without dribbling a basketball and a major “playa” without being played. Greatness is not achieved with a football, a hand gun or a microphone; it is achieved with a textbook, a college diploma and a sound economic plan.

I was proud of Barack Obama long before he became our president. I don’t need validation from the rest of America to feel good about who we are as a people. We were just as great, just as strong, just as accomplished and just as meaningful on November 3 as we are right now. The presidential election is essentially a popularity contest which leads to uncomfortable tradeoffs and “deals with the devil” that reduce the glitter of addictive political gold. The respect I give Barack Obama for raising hundreds of millions of dollars to get access to the Whitehouse is matched by the respect I give Dr. Julianne Malveaux for raising tens of millions of dollars to educate young Black women at Bennett College. Being President of the United States is not what makes Barack Obama a great man: He is a great man because he is a great man.

I am proud of Barack Obama for marrying Michelle, who served as one of my primary reasons for trusting him. I have a hard time imagining a man who can sleep with Michelle Obama every night and not be influenced by her beautiful mind. Michelle Obama is not a “buppy” soccer mom, Stepford Wife, or wannabe Barbara Bush. Michelle is a super sharp and relentless “sistuh girl”, who demands the most of her African American husband. She makes the first family as beautiful as Barack Obama makes it strong.

I am proud of Barack Obama for his willingness to take his life and career into the lion’s den. He inherits a terrible economy, an unjust war, a sickening healthcare system and an educational system which cripples our children for life. Like the first Black football coaches in the NCAA, Obama has been granted the reigns of a team with a serious losing record. Furthermore, he must bend and twist to satisfy citizens of the same country that was naïve enough to consider mediocre characters like George Bush and Sarah Palin to possibly run our great nation. I sincerely wish Obama the best as he attacks these problems, and I hope that this brilliant Black man with the middle name “Hussein” can negotiate the balance between our quest for a better world and America’s consistent commitment to anti-intellectualism.

As proud as I am of President Obama, I am also proud of America for showing that it has the ability to choose the right person for the job, instead of the right WHITE person for the job. By choosing Obama, we have shown our capacity for fairness, and how much progress we’ve made to overcome some of our racial demons of the past. The easiest thing to do, however, is to think that having a Black president is going to change the lives of most Black people. The reality is that BLACK PEOPLE THEMSELVES are going to change the lives of Black people and if we do not embrace the power of financial independence and unity, we will simply remain perpetual socio-economic slaves in the domain of a new overseer. The same way America rolled back the political gains of the 1960s, the Washington-based rewards of the new millennium could be just as fleeting.

President Obama did his job, now it’s time for us to do ours. Good luck over the next 4 years.

Hey Folks,

Can you help a brotha out !

Well it has been since Sept. of 2006 that I have been trying to get into Wholefoods Market stores here in the ATL(Atlanta). Well that day has FINALLY come ! WFM is one of the hardest food market stores to get into in the whole wide world because of their standards of being the worlds largest organic food store.

Need I say they have very few black vendors as well. This is not because they are not looking for black business vendors that have a offering that fit their business model, they are just very picky to say the least ! But that is why I need your support with my bottle water product Miracle Streams.

I have customers from all around the world that I ship to on a monthly basis. In a recent unoffical taste test, a good friend of mine father is a big wig at one of the worlds largest beer companies. He was with some of his buddies recently watching the football game. My friend told him about what I was doing and gave his father some bottles of Miracle Streams to try as they watched the game.

My buddies dad job is Diractor of quailty management. His job is to taste the product to make sure it is what it should be. So my buddies dad does tasting for a living, he said this is the best water he has ever tasted ! It was very encouraging, because you always need to hear that as you are trying to make your goals take place in some shape or form.

I will be at the Harry's/WholeFoods Market in Alpharetta this Sunday from 12:30-3:30 giving out samples and trying to brand my product. The best thing is that more and more people all across the world are being educated about the great contributions black people have made to this world. This is the history that they are not teaching in our class rooms to our kids. This is american history at it's best !

Also I give a portion of every sale of Miracle Streams to the Food for the Hungry foundation. This goes towards helping those that can not help themsleves in Ethiopia. We all know about that situation, and it is very, very, sad. Regardless of are own situation, we still have it very, very, good folks.

This is a must read. Our life depends on it ! With my product Miracle Streams I have a "Proof of Purity" document. This is a document that lets YOU know the source of where my water comes from, and the purity of that source. I know what the other guys are doing and saying, but I will let you do your own research on that. Please read the following information.

Tons of drugs dumped into wastewater
Discarded medications end up in drinking water, ongoing report finds

updated 4:16 p.m. ET, Sun., Sept. 14, 2008

U.S. hospitals and long-term care facilities annually flush millions of pounds of unused pharmaceuticals down the drain, pumping contaminants into America's drinking water, according to an ongoing Associated Press investigation.

These discarded medications are expired, spoiled, over-prescribed or unneeded. Some are simply unused because patients refuse to take them, can't tolerate them or die with nearly full 90-day supplies of multiple prescriptions on their nightstands.

Few of the country's 5,700 hospitals and 45,000 long-term care homes keep data on the pharmaceutical waste they generate. Based on a small sample, though, the AP was able to project an annual national estimate of at least 250 million pounds of pharmaceuticals and contaminated packaging, with no way to separate out the drug volume.

One thing is clear: The massive amount of pharmaceuticals being flushed by the health services industry is aggravating an emerging problem documented by a series of AP investigative stories — the commonplace presence of minute concentrations of pharmaceuticals in the nation's drinking water supplies, affecting at least 46 million Americans.

Researchers are finding evidence that even extremely diluted concentrations of pharmaceutical residues harm fish, frogs and other aquatic species in the wild. Also, researchers report that human cells fail to grow normally in the laboratory when exposed to trace concentrations of certain drugs.

Calls for mandatory testing
The original AP series in March prompted federal and local legislative hearings, brought about calls for mandatory testing and disclosure, and led officials in more than two dozen additional metropolitan areas to analyze their drinking water.

And while most pharmaceutical waste is unmetabolized medicine that is flushed into sewers and waterways through human excretion, the AP examined institutional drug disposal and its dangers because unused drugs add another substantial dimension to the problem.

"Obviously, we're flushing them — which is not ideal," acknowledges Mary Ludlow at White Oak Pharmacy, a Spartanburg, S.C., firm that serves 15 nursing homes and assisted-living residences in the Carolinas.

Such facilities, along with hospitals and hospices, pose distinct challenges because they handle large quantities of powerful and toxic drugs — often more powerful and more toxic than the medications people use at home. Tests of sewage from several hospitals in Paris and Oslo uncovered hormones, antibiotics, heart and skin medicines and pain relievers.

Hospital waste is particularly laden with both germs and antibiotics, says microbiologist Thomas Schwartz at Karlsruhe Research Center in Germany.

The mix is a scary one.

In tests of wastewater retrieved near other European hospitals and one in Davis County, Utah, scientists were able to link drug dumping to virulent antibiotic-resistant germs and genetic mutations that may promote cancers, according to scientific studies reviewed by the AP.

Researchers have focused on cell-poisoning anticancer drugs and fluoroquinolone class antibiotics, like anthrax fighter ciprofloxacin.

At the University of Rouen Medical Center in France, 31 of 38 wastewater samples showed the ability to mutate genes. A Swiss study of hospital wastewater suggested that fluoroquinolone antibiotics also can disfigure bacterial DNA, raising the question of whether such drug concoctions can heighten the risk of cancer in humans.

Pharmacist Boris Jolibois, one of the French researchers at Compiegne Medical Center, believes hospitals should act quickly, even before the effects are well understood. "Something should be done now," he said. "It's just common sense."

Some contaminated packaging and drug waste are incinerated; more is sent to landfills. But it is believed that most unused pharmaceuticals from health care facilities are dumped down sinks or toilets, usually without violating state or federal regulations.

The Environmental Protection Agency told assembled water experts last year that it believes nursing homes and other long-term care facilities use sewer systems to dispose of most of their unused drugs. A water utility surveyed 45 long-term care facilities in 2006 and calculated that two-thirds of their unused drugs were scrapped this way, according to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies.

An internal EPA memo last year included pharmaceuticals on a list of "major pollutants of concern" at health care businesses. Still, few medical centers keep comprehensive records of drugs they cast down toilets or into landfills. When data are kept, drugs and tainted packaging are combined in the same totals.

In an attempt to quantify the problem, the AP examined records in Minnesota, where state regulators have pushed hospital administrators to keep closer track than elsewhere. Fourteen facilities were surveyed, in a range of settings from rural to urban. The AP projected those annual totals onto the national patient population for hospitals and adjusted for the relatively lower pharmaceutical use of Minnesotans. Since long-term care facilities generate more drug waste than hospitals, the AP conservatively doubled the number.

That calculation produced an estimate of at least 250 million pounds of annual drug waste from hospitals and long-term care centers, further complicated by the fact experts say drugs might account for only up to half of pharmaceutical waste, while the rest is packaging.

The AP estimate excludes many other sources of health industry drug waste, from doctors' to veterinary offices. Smaller medical offices typically dispose of expired samples and unwanted drugs like ordinary consumers — with little forethought.

Alan Davidner, president of Vestara of Irvine, Calif., which sells systems to manage drug waste, says his limited sampling suggests the health care industry's contribution could even be higher.

Plus, untold amounts of pills and tablets are being thrown away each year at federal and state correctional institutions.

'We flush it and flush it and flush it'
At a state prison in Oak Park Heights, Minn., nurse Linda Peterson says the hospital unit serving inmates statewide has been throwing away up to 12,000 pills a year. She says some heart medicines and antibiotics are simply chucked into the trash. Tightly regulated narcotics susceptible to abuse go down the toilet.

"We flush it and flush it and flush it — until we can't see any more pills," she says.

She notes the presence of nursing homes, a hospital and another prison in the same area. "So what are all these facilities doing, if we're throwing away about 700 to 1,000 pills a month?"

The EPA is considering whether to impose the first national standard for how much drug waste may be released into waterways by the medical services industry, but Ben Grumbles, the EPA's top water administrator, says a decision won't be made until next year, at the earliest.

So far, regulators have done little more than politely ask the medical care industry to stop pouring drugs into the wastewater system. "Treating the toilet as a trash can isn't a good option," says Grumbles.

Some think it's time to do more than ask. "It's strange that we have rules about the oil from your car; you're not allowed to simply flush it down the sewer," says U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy, R-Pa. "So why do we let these drugs, without any kind of regulation, continue to be flushed away in the water supply?"

Landfills are one alternative. At least they don't empty directly, and immediately, into waterways like some sewage.

Marjorie E. Powell, a lawyer for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, says landfills are "more environmentally friendly," while EPA spokeswoman Roxanne Smith contends that landfilling of hazardous pharmaceutical waste "poses little threat to the public."

Still, Grumbles acknowledges that landfills, while safer, are not a permanent solution. That's because pharmaceuticals can eventually reach waterways from landfills through leaks or intentional releases of treated seepage known as leachate.

An agency staffer wrote in a memo last year: "EPA recognizes that residuals in the leachate could contaminate groundwater supplies and ultimately reach water treatment plants, but disposal into the trash is currently considered a BMP" — or best management practice.

Already, researchers have detected trace concentrations of drugs — including the pain reliever ibuprofen and seizure medicine carbamazepine — in seepage or groundwater near landfills.

Environmental professionals outside government are reaching a consensus that incinerators are the best disposal method.

"That's the best practice for today because we don't really know what the hell to do with the stuff," says industrial engineer Laura Brannen, an executive at Waste Management Healthcare Solutions, of Houston. She says burning destroys more drug waste than all other methods, though some contaminants may escape in smoke and ash.

On a recent day at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Mary Kuch was getting ready to squirt leftovers from a syringe of hydromorphone, a powerful morphine derivative, into a sink. When she started out in nursing 18 years ago, "I took it for granted, because I was a young nurse, and that's what other nurses did," she says. "But I did find it strange."

These days, only four gallons — drugs with high potential for abuse — go down the hospital's drains each year. Nearly all leftover medicine and contaminated packaging are instead tossed into black bins and rolled to a hospital storage room crammed with scores of 55-gallon drums.

There, waste-company employee Bryant Sears — dressed in a Teflon suit, rubber gloves and goggles — conducts a sorting operation. Pills, blister packs and liquid medicines collected in vials, along with syringes and IV bags, are separated out according to differing disposal standards and methods. Occasionally, he glances at a wall-sized placard with details on which drug goes where — hazardous waste in one barrel, nonhazardous in another. A roll of "hazardous waste" stickers hangs from a pole on the wall.

Sears points to some epinephrine, a heart drug, saying, "Now that it's past its expiration date, it's waste."

These leftovers and discards ultimately will be incinerated.

EPA's Smith says even municipal burners unapproved for hazardous waste "will destroy all but a minute fraction" of organic compounds — the kind found in pharmaceuticals.

But Stephen DiZio, a manager with the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, says not so fast. "I don't think we're encouraging incineration of anything. The public outcry would be so great."

The push for incineration hides an irony. Several decades ago, drug waste was routinely chucked into the trash and burned in hospital or city incinerators.

Then came a national campaign against air pollution. Most hospitals shut down their burners, and city incinerator managers became pickier about what they'd accept. With options restricted, hospitals began shipping more drug waste to landfills — and dumping more into toilets and sinks.

A few choices are expanding. Some states have passed laws to make it easier to contribute unused drugs to charity pharmacies that supply low-income patients.

Also, a small share of unused drugs is shipped back to manufacturers for credit — and incineration, waste consultants say. But the drugs are supposed to be sent back in original packaging — sometimes impractical because the packaging is discarded or damaged.

Several long-term care residences want to deploy automatic drug-dispensing machines that suppliers would refill often to reduce waste.

While not yet practical, there are several experimental technologies, such as destroying trace drugs with an electrical arc, microwaves, or caustic chemicals.

Increasingly, some bureaucrats and health professionals are suggesting that drug makers help pay costs of managing drug waste. But the pharmaceutical industry says there's insufficient evidence of environmental harm to warrant the expense.

But impatience is mounting. Even the EPA has begun to take such suggestions seriously. Grumbles says drug makers "should do more for product stewardship and meds retrieval now." He says it would be unwise to wait for all the proof.

Hey Folks,

You know with all of the progress we have made in various areas of life such as the IPhone to all of the medical advances that have taken place. It is so,so, sad that this country which is 232 years old has still ran away from what I call "America's original sin" and that is out right stupid racism !

I told my wife that this election was going to truely expose the moral character of this nation. When a black man is highly educated somehow he is a elitest ! But if a white man has that same background he is very polished, qualified, someone you would love to have over for dinner.

However if a black man is not educated he is a hood rat, under qualified, and oh by the way Carrrington please do not have Jamal over without us being at home. We just want to make sure everything is locked up first honey ! I have been in the corporate rat race fo over 28 years, and I have seen and heard things that would make you want to go home or somewhere and get something to go upside someone's head !

Now I will say that sometimes we do some stupid stuff that makes the way other people think about us seem real. But at the same time that is a small piece of the pie, and the whole pie should not be judged that way. I know this for sure, their pie sure is not judged that way ! Take care !

If Obama Loses
Racism is the only reason McCain might beat him.
By Jacob Weisberg
Posted Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at 12:02 AM ET

Barack Obama
What with the Bush legacy of reckless war and economic mismanagement, 2008 is a year that favors the generic Democratic candidate over the generic Republican one. Yet Barack Obama, with every natural and structural advantage in the presidential race, is running only neck-and-neck against John McCain, a sub-par Republican nominee with a list of liabilities longer than a Joe Biden monologue. Obama has built a crack political operation, raised record sums, and inspired millions with his eloquence and vision. McCain has struggled with a fractious campaign team, lacks clarity and discipline, and remains a stranger to charisma. Yet at the moment, the two of them appear to be tied. What gives?

If it makes you feel better, you can rationalize Obama's missing 10-point lead on the basis of Clintonite sulkiness, his slowness in responding to attacks, or the concern that Obama may be too handsome, brilliant, and cool to be elected. But let's be honest: If you break the numbers down, the reason Obama isn't ahead right now is that he trails badly among one group, older white voters. He does so for a simple reason: the color of his skin.

Much evidence points to racial prejudice as a factor that could be large enough to cost Obama the election. That warning is written all over last month's CBS/New York Times poll, which is worth examining in detail if you want a quick grasp of white America's curious sense of racial grievance. In the poll, 26 percent of whites say they have been victims of discrimination. Twenty-seven percent say too much has been made of the problems facing black people. Twenty-four percent say the country isn't ready to elect a black president. Five percent of white voters acknowledge that they, personally, would not vote for a black candidate.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Five percent surely understates the reality. In the Pennsylvania primary, one in six white voters told exit pollsters race was a factor in his or her decision. Seventy-five percent of those people voted for Clinton. You can do the math: 12 percent of the Pennsylvania primary electorate acknowledged that it didn't vote for Barack Obama in part because he is African-American. And that's what Democrats in a Northeastern(ish) state admit openly. The responses in Ohio and even New Jersey were dispiritingly similar.

Such prejudice usually comes coded in distortions about Obama and his background. To the willfully ignorant, he is a secret Muslim married to a black-power radical. Or—thank you, Geraldine Ferraro—he only got where he is because of the special treatment accorded those lucky enough to be born with African blood. Some Jews assume Obama is insufficiently supportive of Israel in the way they assume other black politicians to be. To some white voters (14 percent in the CBS/New York Times poll), Obama is someone who, as president, would favor blacks over whites. Or he is an "elitist" who cannot understand ordinary (read: white) people because he isn't one of them. Or he is charged with playing the race card, or of accusing his opponents of racism, when he has strenuously avoided doing anything of the sort. We're just not comfortable with, you know, a Hawaiian.

Then there's the overt stuff. In May, Pat Buchanan, who writes books about the European-Americans losing control of their country, ranted on MSNBC in defense of white West Virginians voting on the basis of racial solidarity. The No. 1 best-seller in America, Obama Nation by Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D., leeringly notes that Obama's white mother always preferred that her "mate" be "a man of color." John McCain has yet to get around to denouncing this vile book.

Many have discoursed on what an Obama victory could mean for America. We would finally be able to see our legacy of slavery, segregation, and racism in the rearview mirror. Our kids would grow up thinking of prejudice as a nonfactor in their lives. The rest of the world would embrace a less fearful and more open post-post-9/11 America. But does it not follow that an Obama defeat would signify the opposite? If Obama loses, our children will grow up thinking of equal opportunity as a myth. His defeat would say that when handed a perfect opportunity to put the worst part of our history behind us, we chose not to. In this event, the world's judgment will be severe and inescapable: The United States had its day but, in the end, couldn't put its own self-interest ahead of its crazy irrationality over race.

Choosing John McCain, in particular, would herald the construction of a bridge to the 20th century—and not necessarily the last part of it, either. McCain represents a Cold War style of nationalism that doesn't get the shift from geopolitics to geoeconomics, the centrality of soft power in a multipolar world, or the transformative nature of digital technology. This is a matter of attitude as much as age. A lot of 71-year-olds are still learning and evolving. But in 2008, being flummoxed by that newfangled doodad, the personal computer, seems like a deal-breaker. At this hinge moment in human history, McCain's approach to our gravest problems is hawkish denial. I like and respect the man, but the maverick has become an ostrich: He wants to deal with the global energy crisis by drilling and our debt crisis by cutting taxes, and he responds to security challenges from Georgia to Iran with Bush-like belligerence and pique.

You may or may not agree with Obama's policy prescriptions, but they are, by and large, serious attempts to deal with the biggest issues we face: a failing health care system, oil dependency, income stagnation, and climate change. To the rest of the world, a rejection of the promise he represents wouldn't just be an odd choice by the United States. It would be taken for what it would be: sign and symptom of a nation's historical decline.

Regards,
Hey Folks,

This is something that has always crossed my brain and now it has me thinking even more !

AIDS Called Black Genocide - US Special Virus Program Chart Vindicates Maathai

In what appears to be a confirmation of Nobel Wangari Maathai's statement that Aids may be a man-made illness, Boyd E. Graves J.D. has published his research into the US government's “Special Virus” program on a site dedicated to the issue. According to his timeline, the research program goes back to the late 1800s. Graves charges that the program is specifically directed against Blacks with a view to reducing their population, both within the United States and across the African continent. The research is documented in a 1971 secret government flow chart, the existence of which, says Boyd, was only discovered in 1999.

AIDS may well have been part of a US special virus program, but since HIV is not found in all AIDS patients and since that virus has not been scientifically demonstrated to cause the syndrome - there is not enough of the virus present to indicate causation - something seems to have gone wrong. AIDS in fact was brought into existence with the help of extensive scare mongering in the media. The "cure" does the rest - AZT, an anti-retroviral drug used to treat AIDS seems to cause the clinical symptoms observed, acccording to Beldeu Singh. The widespread use of the pharmaceutical "cure" for AIDS, clamored for by special interest groups, has the same effect as if those people were the victims of a virulent disease - they eventually die of the cure.

Having seen the smoking gun of a government sponsored "special virus" research program, found and brought to our attention by Boyd Graves, we might start looking into other epidemics that perhaps could follow the same logic - control and population reduction. Certainly the motive is there - population control has been on the agenda for quite some time. We now have a first glimpse of how government research into virulent diseases might fit into that agenda.

I certainly was surprised to find that SARS seems to have originated in a government virus lab - the first person to die from it was a virus researcher. A subsequent outbreak originated in a Beijing government laboratory. It infected nine people and killed one of them. The outbreak led to the resignation of Li Liming, director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
A later "isolated case" of SARS in Singapore originated in a government lab as well.

For those who like to do some more research, it might be worthwhile to look into the fairly numerous cases of microbiologists of international standing who lost their lives in seemingly unrelated accidental deaths. Strangely, there are far too few microbiologists of world repute to explain away the high number of violent deaths as wholly accidental.

The good news is, both SARS and AIDS seem to respond to nutritional intervention.

Vitamin C was used in Canada and Australia as well as in the Philippines, where shortages of supply caused by production capacity being shut down tripled the price of the vitamin.

AIDS has been shown by a trial in Tanzania to respond to supplementation with a simple multivitamin. Harold Foster in Canada says that AIDS responds to four nutrients that are deficient in affected patients. A small trial in Botswana brought a first confirmation of Foster's proposal for nutritional intervention.

While governments and medical science are apparently quite fixated on virus research, could they really have it all wrong? Certainly if we study the history of Pasteur's germ theory of disease causation we find that the jury is not yet in on what really causes disease. Immunity and good health are built by a relatively abundant supply of certain biological building blocks in our bodies.

Perhaps that is why simple nutrients seem so effective.
Was There an AIDS Contract?
by Michael Morrissey
I heard about Jakob Segal's theory that the AIDS virus originated in a US government biological warfare research laboratory in early 1989. After some preliminary research, I was amazed to find that this shocking theory had received no attention whatsoever in the mainstream American press, and almost none in Europe. The questions this theory raised were a matter of pure science, or so it seemed to me. There were only three possibilities: 1) Segal was wrong; 2) he was right; 3) it could not be determined either way. I resolved to find out which of these was true...

The AIDS Epidemic at 25: The Hidden Benefits and Design Behind the Devastation
My research has convinced me that vaccines were not only the goal behind the development and unleashing of HIV but also the source of the epidemic, as well.

Experimental hepatitis B vaccine linked to 80s AIDS deaths
Experimental subjects for these HB vaccine trials included homosexual males in NYC, Willowbrook State School (WSS) mentally retarded children on Staten Island, and African Blacks. All subjects were not informed that the four subtype HB vaccines being tested were partially processed in live potentially contaminated chimpanzees, shipped from Africa by Bionetics, then housed in NYC where biohazard and containment problems, including the horizontal transmission of infectious diseases, was routine.

Further scrutinizing the development and testing of these four HB vaccine subtypes, the blood from these experimentally infected human subjects was later pooled and used to develop "perhaps 200,000 human doses" according to Merck's vaccine chief, Maurice Hilleman. Again, these doses containing HB viruses serially passed from Australian humans, to WSS children, into African chimpanzees before being reinoculated into New Yorkers and central Africans by way of vaccines by 1975. This was perfect timing for the initial outbreak of GRID/AIDS cases in these regions by the late 1970s.

Hey Folks,

I just wanted to pass on some very exciting news concerning my bottled water product Miracle Streams. As many of you know I have been trying to get into the WholeFoods Markets stores here in Atlanta and the S.E. since January of 2007.

I am glad to say that I received a email from WFM letting me know that they want Miracle Streams to be placed in all of their metro Atlanta locations starting at the end of September 2008.If things go well as far as product movement/sales is concern, then they will let me go into all of thier stores in the region.

I am so encourged for many reasons. I am very encourged about the business opportunity of course as anyone would be. However I am more truely excited about the fact that the content on the Miracle Streams bottle that talks about the awesome contributions that black people have made to our society and the world will get greater exposure !

I want to thank all of you for either your moral support and as well as your financial support you have given me over this time period. I am now going to need your support now more than ever before when September rolls around. I am only one of a few black owned bottled water companies in the country.I am the only black owned bottled water company in the world that uses historic content/message on the bottle !

The slogan for Miracle Streams is "Refreshing your Body and Mind" I named it that way for a reason !

Hello Kevin,

After reviewing the product we have decided to place it in our GA stores only at this time. It will be movement that will determine the placement in the other stores in the region. Please fill out the attached information and email back to me.

Hey guys let your voices be heard !

Kevin

Dr. Boyce Watkins

Greetings,

BET is doing a special on Barack Obama and the Presidential election. I’ll be one of the academics brought in to provide the scholarly perspective on this. In my last project with BET, “The 25 Events that Misshaped Black America”, Michael Eric Dyson was my partner in crime. Mike is my friend, and was one of my greatest inspirations when I chose to pursue a career of public scholarship.

As you’ve seen, I don’t hold back on my own point of view, even if it is not popular (I am not a politician or in a popularity contest – I believe the role of the public scholar is to humbly engage in sincere intellectual leadership). However, as I move forward with this project on Obama, I feel an obligation to be cognizant of what the black community is thinking. In other words, I want to speak for all of us.

We tape the episodes in July, and I expect them to start airing in September. So, in order to get my finger on the pulse of the community, I would like to encourage you to submit your opinions. Tell me: How do you feel as you’re watching this election? Are your feelings changing as time goes by? Has anything surprised, disappointed or angered you? I would really like to know. Please don’t email the thoughts directly to me, it’s tough to manage all the messages. I ask that you click the link to have your thoughts properly indexed.

I want to quickly give a shout out to the Atlanta Black Achievers. I’ll be keynoting their teen leadership summit on September 6. I wanted to mention this particular engagement, since I owe a life debt to Black Achievers. Had it not been for the Louisville, KY chapter of this organization, I would never have gone to college. In fact, I dedicated my first book “Everything you ever wanted to know about college” to the Black Achievers organization. If there is a chapter in your city, I encourage you to join or make a donation. It was my mama’s willingness to yank me by my afro and force me to go to meetings on Saturday mornings that changed my life forever. I encourage other parents out there to not give up on their kids and do the same thing. EVERY BLACK CHILD IS COLLEGE MATERIAL. Don’t let teachers, counselors or anyone else tell you different.

In case anyone is interested, I wrote an article on the feud between rapper Ice-T and Soulja Boy. As someone who speaks regularly to high school kids, (all of whom seem to live and die for Soulja Boy - we as adults should keep up with these things) I felt like this was a chance to discuss the divide between older generations and younger ones. I am not sure if we always give our youth the respect they need to feel empowered enough to carry the torch. Yes, we are better drivers, but we need to trust them with the wheel, since we can’t drive forever.

I even witness this divide myself when I appear on shows with individuals from the Civil Rights generation. While many of them are open to the idea of new leadership, there are some who don’t seem to feel that any generation after their own has anything of value to contribute to the world. But I applaud the NAACP in their decision to elect Ben Jealous as their new president. I am optimistic that Mr. Jealous can inject fresh, youthful blood into the organization, while maintaining a sincere respect for the contributions of the past. Properly passing the torch requires a delicate and respectful negotiation between generations. Berating young people only marginalizes them. I am a fan of encouraging youth and empowering their desire to bring fresh, energized and educated perspectives. In return, when we sit at the table to give advice, we will find them quite receptive.

Whether we realize it or not, the feud between Ice-T and Soulja Boy is quite similar to the divide between Bill Cosby and black teens, or what young leaders go through with some (not all) Civil Rights leaders. As we work with youth, it is critical to remember that the phrase “tough love” also includes the word “love”. Love and anger can be reflective devices: the more you give, the more you usually get back. Let’s love our kids to greatness.

At any rate, be well and God Bless.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.I told my wife that this election was going to expose the moral and social character of this nation for what it really is,and has been. Pleas echeck out this information. This is coming for so called mainstream america ! Take care !

In case you didn’t see it, Liz Trotta, a Fox News contributor, joked about how she hoped that Barack Obama would be assassinated. The video clip is at YourBlackWorld if you want to see it, and here is the text from the disturbing part of the conversation:

Trotta: "And now we have what some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama, uh Obama. Well, both, if we could."
Host: "Talk about how you really feel."

What is most ironic about this statement is that the idea of doing harm to people of color is quite credible. I personally have been offered additional police protection due to the number of death threats that have come into my campus since our challenge to Bill O’Reilly. Barack Obama has had to take on additional secret service protection as a result of the number of death threats he has received.

As much as I have shown concern for the leadership abilities of President Bush in my books and articles, I never once hoped for his assassination. Such sentiment is clearly treasonous and evil. But this is the kind of language used to describe the man who may become the first black president. Bill O’Reilly also discussed having a “lynching party” against Michelle Obama and was not sanctioned for this language. That is what we’re up against.

This election is quite telling in the sense that it shows just how sick our country is with racism. The idea that a major news network can allow one of its analysts to a) confuse a presidential candidate’s name with one of the world’s most notorious terrorists (notice that she confused Obama’s name with Osama, and many of you have heard Barack’s middle name being used by those who oppose him), and b) joke about how she would like to see him assassinated along with Bin Laden, clearly explains where racism and evil continue to exist in our nation.

If you still stand up in support of Fox News after seeing this, then I truly feel sorry for you.

Our protest against Fox and Bill O’Reilly is picking up tremendous steam. Working together, we can hold this network accountable for its actions. If you have not already done so, I humbly ask that you continue emailing and calling the producers for The O’Reilly Factor. Also, be sure to send a complaint to the FCC over this horrific behavior. The contact information for the O’Reilly Factor, the FCC and all of Fox News’ corporate sponsors can be found at this link. If you've already reached out to them, don't hesitate to do so again. It's time to put some heat on the hate and let them know that we mean business.

We can’t let the “Axis of Ignorance” distort the facts and steal this election. The summer of 2008 is going to be as challenging and critical as the summer of 1968 when it comes to fighting for equality. I encourage all Americans to remember: WE ARE NOT POWERLESS…..the time to vote is not only in November. The time to vote is NOW, by emailing, calling and writing corporate sponsors of Fox News and the FCC to tell them that this anti-American behavior is not going to be tolerated.

I honestly don’t care if you support Clinton, Obama or McCain. I only care that we fight for what is right. All are invited to this struggle against social terrorism.
It's gut check time for white Americans
Obama's in trouble because Wright brings out our biases

April 30, 2008Recommend (123)

BY MARK BROWN Sun-Times Columnist
It's not usually my style to beat a dead horse, but today I can't help myself. Barack Obama and his presidential campaign are at a crossroads, brought there in large part by his old pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

But he's not at the crossroads alone.

Sun-Times columnist Mark Brown(Who is a white male by the way!)

We're all pretty much right there with him, standing in various corners of the intersection, facing in different directions. Where we go from here in the next few weeks and months could determine our course as a nation for a long time forward.

A lot of whites freaked out by Wright
You can see the situation developing, and it doesn't look pretty from where I sit. Obama is likely going to lose the Indiana presidential primary, giving another huge lift to Hillary Clinton.

And then what?

Is the Democratic party going to take away the nomination that was almost in Obama's grasp, that remains almost in his grasp, mainly because a lot of white people are freaked out by Wright and what they have convinced themselves it means about Obama? That seems to be a growing possibility, which to my mind would be an even bigger disaster for Democrats than John McCain handing Obama his lunch in November.

So at the risk of repeating myself, let me repeat myself:

Barack Obama is not Jeremiah Wright.

We've never heard Obama say any of the things that got Wright in trouble because Obama doesn't believe those things.

No amount of slicing and dicing of old videotapes will make Obama seem scary because he isn't scary.

Being a member of Wright's church doesn't make him a disciple.

There's no secret black agenda that Obama is waiting to promote if he becomes president.

Those who have convinced themselves otherwise are betraying something about themselves.

After Tuesday's column, many people wanted to let me know I missed the point about Obama's association with Wright.

Actually, I think I hit the nail, if not squarely on the head, close enough that my point struck painfully close to home.

The Wright affair has such resonance in this campaign because Wright has shown himself to be the kind of black person that white people don't like. He brings out our prejudices. Yes, I said "our" prejudices.

Part of it is Wright's ignorance and part of it is his arrogance and part of it is that he talks louder than white people would prefer and part of it is that he uses the sing-song cadence they associate with other black ministers they have grown to hate over the years such as Jesse Jackson.

Obama is none of those things (OK, maybe a little arrogant at times), so Wright has been brought to the forefront as a substitute punching bag.

I've seen this happen so many times in politics where black candidates are involved that I've lost track. An opponent has trouble attacking the black candidate, so they find somebody connected to the candidate and attack them. I can't say why this is more prevalent with black politicians unless it's that the black experience has produced more fringe players who can be used for this purpose. Plus, there's always Farrakhan.

Then the opponent starts in with the disavowal game. Will you now disavow this black person who is of some stature in the black community to prove to us that you really aren't one of "those" black people?

And now that Obama has provided the disavowal, left with no choice by Wright's latest display, the reaction is "too little, too late."

Those who have read my columns and seen my picture over the years know me to be a self-professed white liberal.

I know racism when I see it
But as I've also mentioned in the past, I have tasted the poison that is racism, having been fed a steady diet of bigotry as a kid growing up, while also being raised not to have those prejudices. I know firsthand that when you get that prejudice in your system, it doesn't just go away on its own. It's stored away.

In short, I think I know racism when I see it, and the Rev. Wright affair has it in full bloom.

This is a gut check time for white America, and don't give me the "double standard" baloney. If we could ever clean up the white racism, the thing that some of you consider black racism would take care of itself.

If somebody tells me they're against Barack Obama because he's on the wrong side of the issues -- that he doesn't have the right approach to the war in Iraq or that he can't be trusted on taxes and government spending -- I can understand.

But if they tell me they're against Obama because he went to Wright's church, I can see that for what it is.

Condoleeza Rice Speaks Candidly on Race in America

Sen. Barack Obama has called for a national discussion on race in America, and one of the folks who sure didn't hold back when asked was Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
This was sent to YourBlackWorld from someone simply named "Robert". But we found the piece compelling and wanted to share it with our readers.

In a discussion with the editorial board of the Washington Times on Thursday, Rice called racism a "birth defect" of America, and said that black Americans have loved the nation even when it didn't love us.

The Times reported:

"Black Americans were a founding population," she said. "Africans and Europeans came here and founded! this co untry together - Europeans by choice and Africans in chains. That's not a very pretty reality of our founding." "As a result, Miss Rice told editors and reporters at The Washington Times, "descendants of slaves did not get much of a head start, and I think you continue to see some of the effects of that."

"That particular birth defect makes it hard for us to confront it, hard for us to talk about it, and hard for us to realize that it has continuing relevance for who we are today," she said.
Rice later said: "America doesn't have an easy time dealing with race," Miss Rice said, adding that members of her family have "endured terrible humiliations." "What I would like understood as a black American is that black Americans loved and had faith in this country even when this country didn't love and have faith in them - and that's our legacy," she said.

Wow, was all I could say to that.

What was even more stunning was the relative lack of coverage on this issue. I was told CNN's "The Situation Room" did a piece on her comments Friday. But when I surfed the Net to see follow-up stories in other papers, it has pretty much been ignored, except for some briefs.
Why would the mainstream media be so dismissive of Rice's comments? Imagine if Rev. Al Sharpton or Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. said such a thing. Do you think they would have gotten ripped?

The fact of the matter is that Rice was right on the money with her comments, and should be commended. She spoke honestly and openly about the issue, and deserves credit for speaking the truth.

I just wish my colleagues in the media would do a better job at advancing the issue of race in America and our sordid history.

We went bonkers about the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, but when Rice, the nation's chief diplomat, spoke truthfully, it barely made a ripple.

Romans 8v28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.*
